Julio Valdes runs a local manufacturing business in Sydney’s inner west specifically focused on handmade leather garments. With over 40 years experience in the industry Julio is an outstanding man with an abundance of knowledge and an infectious passion.

He is the reason behind our drive to support the local industry.

Julio has become a mentor for our brand and shares our passion of sustainability and longevity. He believes the key to staying in business as long as he has is to deliver quality one of a kind products. As a brand we have decided to follow in his footsteps and learn as much as we can from Julio to bring our customers luxurious handcrafted Aussie garments as he has done so for over 40 years.

We believe in order to see change we must change ourselves, at AIDAN we took a step back over the last year to re-asses where we stand as a brand and where we want to be. We have come to the easy decision to stand for our country and support local Aussies like Julio and bring quality products to our consumers which are proudly Australian designed, sourced and manufactured. We have also decided to cease quantity orders, instead focus on brining our customers tailor made one of a kind pieces to limit the amount of waste we put out as a brand.
